| iCubis recommends you include the following when writing a Needs posting:
1. INFO ONLY or $$$ - please indicate using these keywords whether you are providing this posting for INFO ONLY (not looking to pay for a solution yourself) or $$$ (willing to pay for a solution). Put this right up front, so it immediately tells the reader what sort of opportunity it is.
2. Problem Statement and/or Background - clearly and concisely explain the problem or market potential of the solution you are looking for.
3. Solution Constraints - Detail any requirements you know must be part of the solution. Of particular importance to specify is a high end price point and indicate to which type of consumer: end user (retail price), distributor (wholesale price), manufacturer (production cost), etc.
4. Timeframe - do you have a deadline or are you willing to look at solutions indefinitely until you find the right one?
5. Deal Conditions - what are you willing to offer for a compensation package for an acceptable solution. You do not need to be specific, but the more details you can supply - the better. E.g. are you willing to pay an advance and a royalty on future sales?
6. Contact Directive - indicate whether it is okay for creators to contact you with their solutions or whether you will get back to members who have posted an interesting solution proposal.
7. Needs Reference Code - create a personalized code that explicitly refers to your needs posting. This way when a member creates a response Creation posting they can include this code in their posting. Then all you need do is search on this 'keyword.' |
