Announcing iCubis is here! Everyone has a great idea, a creative thought, a way to make a difference, to sell themselves and their ideas. What's yours?
iCubis is a community for CREATIVITY. Here you can announce to the world that you have something creative, new and of potential importance. At iCubis you'll also find people and companies with new creative needs. What we are creating with iCubis is a community where the two can connect -- where together you can turn those great ideas into great commercial successes.
Perhaps most importantly, iCubis is FREE. Before you go spending lots of your hard-earned money patenting, building prototypes, forming new businesses, etc. - we highly recommend you start at iCubis. Unlike the other 'inventor service' sites and businesses, iCubis is FREE to use and you can learn a lot here about both the promise and the harsh realities of selling your ideas.
Give it a try!

1. First become a member - It's FREE.
2. Select My Profile and provide as much info about yourself as you are comfortable revealing. Warning - everything you input here can be seen by others. The My Experience Blog is of particular importance - as it will tell readers more about you and your experience working in the creativity industry. You want to highlight all your successes and accomplishments - as it pertains to creativity.
3. Select Write a creation entry and write your first posting. Warning - right now everyone can read your posting, so be very careful about what you disclose. If you do not have your creation properly protected, then be real general about describing what you have. The most important thing you want your posting to tell a reader is exactly what you are looking for next. Do you have something for sale or license or are you looking for help from others? Be specific.
4. Write as many postings as you have great ideas and needs. Then sit back and wait to see if you and your postings generate interest - others can email you through iCubis. Or take a more proactive approach and go searching for others who might be able to help you. Posting and searching is all FREE.
5. You connect with other members at iCubis by going to a member's profile page and clicking the Messages > Send Email (button) at the top of the page. iCubis sends the email to the person, so you do not get to see their email - this helps protect our members. The recipient does get to see your email, and if they choose to reply then you will get an email direct from them - thus you get their direct email address. Then you are on your own to communicate with them outside the iCubis system.
This site launches iCubis Phase 1. Future phase development work will add capabilities and make the site more useful to our community. Please help further develop iCubis by sharing improvement ideas at our forum. Thanks.

Building Your Team The very first thing you need to do with your great idea is to start to build a development team. You cannot do everything yourself, and you will need others to achieve next step successes. This article is about how you can use iCubis to start to continue this development process.
DO NOT expect buyers to be contacting you immediately, looking to buy or license your creativity posting. Odds are this will not happen for you. Instead you should be proactive and look within iCubis for other like-minded members who might be interested in your posting topic and possibly in helping you further develop the project behind the posting.
iCubis highly recommends you first start putting together an advisory team. This is one or more individuals who fully understand the project that surrounds the posting. You can often get free help from industry professionals and experts that are part of the network you are in. So too you can find these opinions and good advice from members in iCubis. Maybe you trade advisory services - You become an advisor for a member and they become your advisor. Maybe you need to offer up a small piece of the action to get the needed attention. Any way you can get an advisor - you need to do this. And having a credible and expert advisor is always better than having just anyone. So look for the best and most reputable.
